Endorsed Delegates Code of Conduct

Blockchain@Columbia has just onboarded and abides by the Code of Conduct.

Why do you want to be an Endorsed Delegate and why should DYDX/stkDYDX holders delegate to you?

Blockchain@Columbia is Columbia University’s premier non-profit blockchain organization focusing on educating and empowering crypto builders, researchers, and creators.

We launched the first student group DAO Lion DAO in 2021. Some activities include a grants program for students and participating in Uniswap, dYdX, & Compound governance. Our annual conference focused on crypto and web3 founders from Arbitrum, Polygon, Cosmos, Drift, Audius, and more! We host weekly speakers like Aave Founder Stani, Nansen Founder Alex, and have weekly technical blockchain and development workshops. This year we're organizing a 3-day hackathon (lionhack.xyz) for students and other builders in the space to help onboard more people to crypto and introduce new projects to the space. We are strong supporters of DeFi and dYdX and want to aid the dYdX community and DAO in making it the preeminent derivatives DEX. Given our experience in our own DAO's governance as well as in Uniswap and Compound for almost a year and dYdX most recently, we believe that we are strongly equipped to act as a neutral and effective governance delegate for dYdX.

How will you connect with and contribute to the dYdX community and governance?

We will contribute to the dYdX community and governance by clearly communicating our feedback and reasoning behind our votes on governance proposals, aiding the dYdX community with materials and events targeted towards universities and students in general, and partnering with other delegates in the community to create proposals that improve and/or help sustain the protocol and the DAO. We are eager to participate in shaping dYdX’s effective usage of its treasury, good legal standing and modes of operation as a model to other DAOs in the space, and areas of expansion for the protocol.

I confirm that the information above is accurate and up to date as of the start of the current epoch and I will immediately update this Profile and Pitch in the event of a material change.

I have read and agree to abide by the Endorsed Delegates Code of Conduct.

I have completed and scored 10 /10 on the Endorsed Delegate Self Assessment.
